Medium: acrylic paint and sharpe on canvas
I chose to combine drawings of beauty related objects (the lipstick, blush, makeup brush, hanger, and ring) with violent ones (a bow saw, hammer, pair of scissors, wing corkscrew, and a knife) to create a visible contrast between the types of objects represented. I painted the positive-space pink and the negative space a blueish shade using acrylic paint. To do the contour lines of the objects I used a normal sharpie, and a purple one for the sort of ‘border’ around the scene to add some interest to the drawing.
